2009年度古着支援　タイ難民キャンプへの古着支給報告

There is no problem with the custom clearance this year, there was just a minor issue as the week of shipment arrived to Bangkok Port was during a long public holiday here, so the custom clearance has to be hold for a week, that means we have to pay little bit more for storage containers at the port, but it’s not a big deal.

 

 

 

The last truck just left Bangkok warehouse yesterday, for the non-stockpile camps such as Site 1 in Mae Hong Son province, Mae La, Umpiem, and Nu Po in Tak province,and Tham Hin in Ratchaburi province will receive the shipment by now, and I assumed that they will distribute in August.

 

But for the stockpile camps which is included of Site 1, Mae La Oon, Mae La Ma Luang in Mae Hong Son province, and Don Yang camp in Kanchanaburi province, the clothes will be stocked at the warehouse in town where our field offices are located, and will be delivered to camp when the rainy season finish, that means we probably distribute to the refugee during November-December.

 

After I get the confirm quantity received &photo of distribution in camp, and the summary of expenses from the shipping & transport company I will report to you as soon as possible.
